We're glad that we have a place where she is at now, but we have been very disappointed with their seemingly inability to communicate what's going on with her, especially under the restrictions with COVID. My mother-in-law moved into Kennedy Health Care Center. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident They need to develop a way of communicating more than once a month in a meeting where people come in and just spout off notes, they need to make it more personal, because right now my husband and I view this solely as a warehouse for old people. They said they're gonna read what they can see, and I'm constantly getting, "I just came in." Nobody's ever repeating their visit with her. When I call up there they don't seem to know what to say. The two times that we had made plans to go and see her, they were cancelled for one reason or another, and it was kind of crazy. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on top of that, so anybody who works can't make it in there. They have a setup right now where you can have visitation outside for 30 minutes once a week, and only two peope can be there for that. She left us with a broken hip, and other than one time on FaceTime, we have not laid eyes on her. Even in that, the reports that we're receiving are contradicting one another. We also have a phone call regarding COVID outbreak, and we had one on one day that said they had x number of residents, and x number of employees, and the next day we got one that said it was just employees, and they were calling to let us know. We can't get in to see her, we can't check on her, but oftentimes we're finding out about her follow up doctors' appointments that are outside of them when transportation is calling us. ![]() Kelly My mother-in-law moved into Kennedy Health Care Center.
